Mitch Dowd is now one step closer to producing carbon neutral* underwear for men by purchasing carbon offsets from Origin.
Not only are the organic fibres comfortable, soft and luxurious; greenhouse gas emissions from production to final delivery have been measured and reported. And the energy used has been carbon offset, all thanks to Origin's verified projects.
Working with the Carbon Reduction Institute, who have conducted an extensive lifecycle analysis of the production supply chain, Mitch Dowd has purchased carbon offsets through Origin to offset the emissions created during the production and transportation process.
Mitch Dowd ambassador, committed environmentalist, ambassador for ex U.S. Vice President Al Gore's The Climate Project and former AFL footballer,
Shane Wakelin says, "Even if you're wearing black and white, you can be green underneath. Genuinely I am, like most people, becoming more environmentally aware so I'm a big fan of the Mitch Dowd Green range."
This season, we've used organic cotton and bamboo fibres, which are luxurious and soft. The range comes in this season's key colours, including flame red, turquoise, graphite, air blue and dusk black. The range is available in a loose fit knitted boxer short, cotton boxer short, fitted hipster or trunk and is available in Myer stores nationally.
*Origin has supplied the offsets to Mitch Dowd and is not responsible for the product lifecycle analysis and estimation report.
